Master thesis RSE

The Institute of Transport Science offers a range of possible topics for master theses for the specialization Railway Systems Engineering (RSE) each semester.

If you are studying RSE and if you are interested in writing a master thesis at our chair in the winter semester 2025/26, please contact thesis@via.rwth-aachen.de and indicate a maximum of three preferred topics (with priority 1 to 3). Please also enclose an up-to-date transcript of records and a status report on the internship (completed, ongoing until, planned from, not planned) to the e-mail. The application deadline is 29.08.2025. Subsequently, the topics will be assigned.

Depending on demand, it cannot be guaranteed that a topic can be assigned.
